the guild inn

scarborough's historic guild inn has been abandoned for only a few years

the peculiar grounds, which are technically a city of toronto park, remain a popular site for weddings throughout the temperate months. the main feature of this place is its unique collection of random discarded architectural facades and ornaments, such as this random and ornate archway.

the balconies to the rear are gorgeous shades of "decrepit sunrise"
this is technically the newer part of the building, but just as enticing

are these chains really holding up that cement slab?

many of the property's creepy side doors are this secure. many are not.
the place is just starting to look bizarre
it's getting sort of southern gothic back here
avoid deep dives!
